As if I wasn't impressed enough by the show I saw on this night, I was then amazed when I started to research what else this group might be up to! DRIP is an artist-in-residence at The Center for Contemporary Dance, as well as performing for conventions, trade shows, receptions, and special events. Just have a look at the video below for a sneak peek and with interesting shows like; Paint in Motion, Wet, Fresh, Rapsodea Stoleand and short shows like; Black light Waterfall Party, Competitive Wrestling, Liquid Light Projections, Aerial Waterfall, Yoga Multi-Media, Bent, Dirt and their "Paint by..." series, they have something to enthrall any audience.
The next show that I hope to catch is Fresh. "An edible garden of Eden incorporating, dance performance, appetizer vines, 10 foot waterfall, 12 foot canopy tree, art and candy market, live edible painting, strawberry bush, floral luge, the Rapsodea Stole Dessert Show and more." It will be performed at the Cameo Theater the day before and on Valentine's Day.
Performers create and often become visual art themselves by blending dance, music, artistic mediums and props. DRIP redefines arts entertainment by interacting with paint, charcoal, sand, powder, fabric, culinary arts, blacklight paints, projected liquid light, watercolors and more.
